OUR HISTORY
It started on Russell Glen Lane.
- 2005
A living room in Dallas
The foundation was established on April 17, 2005, in the living room of our family home on Russell Glen Lane. What began as a faith-informed commitment to serve others grew into a broader platform for investing in people and strengthening communities.
- Origins
Two Wins Foundation
Originally founded as Two Wins Foundation, the organization was rooted in a belief that service, stewardship, and compassion—paired with action—create meaningful and lasting change. Our work has been guided by faith, but shaped by strategy and partnership.
- 2015
A defining evolution
At our 10-year milestone, we would strategically transition from Two-Wins Foundation to Maiden Foundation, building on the legacy work of the Maiden family. The board and leadership team also refined our model, moving from operating programs to a broader investment approach in nonprofit partners aligned with our mission and already embedded in their communities.
- 2025
Celebrating 20 years
In 2025, the foundation celebrated our 20th year. At that time, our board and leadership team opted to go deeper into the work. We launched RedBird Tomorrow and ELEVATE 2030, very strategic, impactful projects that will help advance the foundation forward for the next generations to come. We would also lead the 50th Year Celebration for Shops at RedBird, the former Red Bird Mall in Dallas.

While we still host a few signature events that bring people together, the core of our work is charitable investment and partnership—proof that lasting impact is created when generosity is matched with intention.

Terrence & Tim Maiden
Identical twin brothers and businessmen, Terrence and Tim Maiden co-founded Two Wins Foundation in 2005 with a shared commitment to creating lasting community impact. Recognized for their business acumen and philanthropic leadership, Terrence has made his mark as a visionary real estate developer, while Tim has excelled as a respected bank executive.
Their professional endeavors have played a vital role in transformational community change, from spearheading major regional mall redevelopments to addressing the absence of financial institutions in under-resourced communities. Through their leadership, they continue to champion initiatives that drive economic empowerment and create opportunities where they are needed most.
